Exceptional technology Ellipse MicroLight HR uses Intense Pulsed Light to achieve long-lasting hair removal. This high-energy broad-spectrum light heats melanin beneath the skin surface. The melanin in the client’s hair absorbs the light and converts it into heat. The hair transmits this heat into the hair follicle, which is then destroyed and unable to produce a new hair. Ellipse’s unique Dual Mode Filtering technology filters the light in two ways. Called I²PL – the second generation of Intense Pulsed Light therapy – this technology ensures that only light with the correct characteristics (wavelengths) reaches the client’s skin making the treatment safe and effective. Innovative applicators with low running cost The Ellipse MicroLight operates with the new, revolutionising PLUS applicators. Rather than the traditional HR applicator which on average lasts in the order of 30-50.000 shots you get the new long-lasting PLUS applicators, which are offered as a "pay per shot" model - and at a significantly lower cost per shot.
